Adventurers: entering 1st grade in the 2017-2018 school year (20 child limit)

June 19-23
9:00 a.m.-12 noon • Silly Science: While donning a lab coat and goggles, campers will discover how and why things work, what produces spectacular chemical reactions, and try their hands at exciting science experiments.

1:00-4:00 p.m. • Fairy Tale Fun: Become a prince or princess, a goblin or a troll in this magical fairy tale week. Campers will listen to classic fairy tale stories and use their imaginations to design royal crowns, create fairy magic wands and learn valuable lessons.

June 26-30
9:00 a.m.-12 noon • Musical Mayhem: Sing songs, move to beats, and explore the different ways to make and play musical instruments! Use art supplies and found materials to create drums, rain sticks, and more.

1:00-4:00 p.m. • Astronaut Adventures: There’s no place like space! In this exciting week campers will learn about the planets in our solar system, the stars, the moon, and what it’s like to be an astronaut.

July 5-7*
9:00 a.m.-12 noon Grossology I: Come and explore all things GROSS! Create chemical reactions and make all kinds of slimy, gooey blobs that will gross out family and friends!

1:00-4:00 p.m. • The World of Eric Carle: Come join us for a wildly fun week with Eric Carle’s enormously entertaining stories. Each day campers will read a story and then create, play, and act out adventures.

July10-14
9:00 a.m.-12 noon • ArtVentures I: Campers will use the messiest of materials and learn about the artistic process as they create their own unique works of art.

1:00-4:00 p.m. • Amazing Animals: Discover the amazing world of the animal kingdom, and explore how animals make the planet a fascinating and beautiful place!

July 17-21
9:00 a.m.-12 noon • Cars, Planes, and Trains: Vroom vroom! Beep beep! Learn all about things that drive, fly, and chug through art, construction projects, and science fun.

1:00-4:00 p.m. • Symphony of the Senses I: What’s your favorite smell? Have you ever felt a snake skin? Our senses help us navigate the world. Campers will explore a new sense each day–I’ve heard it’s going to be awesome!

July 24-28
9:00 a.m.-12 noon • Dino Hunt: Put on your hard hats and grab your shovel – we are going on a dinosaur hunt! Learn special characteristics of dinosaurs and their fossils through stories, art, science, and more!

1:00-4:00 p.m. • Little Builders: Campers will draw, assemble, and construct as they get hands-on with building blocks and other materials to create amazing things.

July 31-August 4
9:00 a.m.-12 noon • Food Fun: Bring your appetite and your imagination! We’ll wake up your sense of taste this week by creating your very own edible works of art. It’ll be Food-Tastic!

1:00-4:00 p.m. • Oh My, Games!: Play games from around the world while exploring strategy, coordination, physical skill, and even racing!
