Discoverers: Completed 3rd and 4th grade

June 20-24

9 a.m.- 12 noon

Duct Tape DesignDuct tape is more than handy around the house. In this class, campers will be able to create amazing duct tape creations such as wallets, flowers, lunch bags, and other functional and fun objects.

1-4 p.m.

Playing Together: Games • From the earliest game known to man to a giant oversized chessboard, campers will play their way through the history of games. Learn the imaginative ways people have played together and end the week by inventing your own game.

June 27-July 1

9 a.m.- 12 noon

Icky Science Discover and observe how chemicals react as you create all kinds of stinky, slimy, and gooey blobs. Campers will make their very own Slime, Gak, and even some Oobleck!

1-4 p.m.

Mask It!You can be anything you desire behind a mask! From animal masks to monsters and even each other… we’ll parade around the Museum as troupe in disguise.

July 5-July 8*

9 a.m.- 12 noon

Animal ExplorationsCampers will learn about the wonders of adaptation, examine the ways in which animals survive and thrive in different environments, and explore the human-animal connection.

1-4 p.m.

Art Explosion IIICalling all artists! Campers will express themselves through paint, recycled materials, and more as they learn artistic techniques and experiment with a variety of fun, basic media.

July 11-15

9 a.m.- 12 noon

Amazing Archaeology • Take a walk into the past and dive into archaeology. Campers will create a time capsule, learn about ancient cultures, and dig for artifacts in this amazing adventure!

1-4 p.m.

Bugology • Some have 6 legs, some have 8, all are small, all are great! Learn all about insects, make your own spider web, and discover how bugs camouflage themselves in this creepy crawly camp.

July 18-22

9 a.m.- 12 noon

Sci-Fi AdventuresMay the Force Be With You! Combining science and imagination, you can dream up a world where anything is possible. Imagine the future, space travel, and robots through design, construction, and storytelling.

1-4 p.m.

Comic Crusaders • Explore the world of visual storytelling through a variety of comic books. Campers will learn fundamental drawing skills and how to create a comic crusader and their story.

July 25-29

9 a.m.- 12 noon

Acting Out • Take your act to the stage! Our campers will be stars as they learn about the art of theatre. They will write a short play, create costumes, rehearse scenes and perform a show at the end of the week!

1-4 p.m.

Pirates of the DesertAhoy matey! Campers will spend five days as sailors embarking on a historic voyage of discovery and adventure. They’ll learn to navigate by the stars and create a treasure map leading them to buried booty!
